Nevada Game Notes: - With the 79-62 win over Utah State on Saturday night, Nevada improved to 19-2 overall and 7-1 in WAC play this year. Nevada also maintained a share of the WAC lead with New Mexico State, which turned in an 85-78 win at San Jose State. - The victory marked the team's eighth consecutive home win and its 20th in 21 tries at Lawlor Events Center. - Senior Nick Fazekas paced the Wolf Pack with 24 points and a career high-tying 18 rebounds. He also tied his season best with four assists (and no turnovers) and added three blocked shots. - That marked Fazekas' 13th double-double of the season and the 54th of his career. - Fazekas also moved into sixth on the WAC career scoring list with 2,195 points and fifth on the WAC career rebounding list with 1,123 boards. - Juniors Marcelus Kemp and Ramon Sessions added 15 and 13 points, respectively. Senior Kyle Shiloh turned in 10 points, including 2-of-3 three-point attempts. Shiloh also tied his season best with six assists without any turnovers. - With his three three-pointers tonight, Kemp moved into sixth on the Nevada career list with 125 career treys. - Nevada returns to action on Wednesday, traveling to Louisiana Tech to take on the Bulldogs for the second time in three games.
