The Nevada women’s tennis team started the season on the right note with a 7-0 victory of Northern Arizona on Thursday in Phoenix, Ariz.

 

All of the Wolf Pack’s singles victories came in straight sets with freshman Maria Mizyuk and sophomore Caroline Bailly leading the way.

 

The Wolf Pack also swept doubles play and yielded a combined nine sets in the three matches.

 

Nevada’s dual against Arizona on Friday was canceled and the Wolf Pack will return to action on Sunday against 55th-ranked UC Irvine.
