RENO, Nev. -- The University of Nevada’s cross country team will compete in the Utah Fall Twilight Friday night in Salt Lake City, Utah.  The meet is hosted by the University of Utah and will feature a women’s 5K run at 5:30 p.m. and a men’s 8K race at 6:15 p.m. 

 

The meet will take place at the Rose Park Golf Course and will include women’s teams from Air Force, BYU, Nevada, Utah Valley State College, Utah, Weber State and Westminster. 

 

Last Time Out:

Nevada finished fourth at the Sacramento State Invite hosted by Sacramento State.  Senior Ashley Holt was the Pack’s top finisher coming in 21st in the 5K race with a time of 20:08.  Two other Nevada runners finished in the top 30, sophomores Tiffany Tandy (28th, 20:25) and Hannah Balkenbush (30th, 20:41).    

 

Sophomore Christa Avena and freshman Rachael Hadley came in 31st and 32nd respectively with times of 20:44 and 20:47.  Freshman Daryan Glenn finished 38th (21:34) and senior Brittany Rohm came in 41st (21:50).

  

Upcoming Schedule:

The Pack will compete in the Bronco Invitational hosted by Santa Clara University on Saturday, Oct. 14 at 10:15 a.m. Pacific.
