FORTH WORTH, TEXAS. The University of Nevada started the season with a loss to TCU on September 29, 2006.
Nevada shot a 4581 and finished behind TCU’s 4598. The Wolf Pack shot a 2302 in air rifle and 2279 in small bore.
Junior Meghann Morrill led the Pack in both the air rifle and small bore competitions by shooting a 582 in air rifle and 581 in small bore. The Pack topped TCU in the small bore competition 2279 -2271 but came up short in air rifle with the score 2327-2302.
The Pack will stay Forth Worth, Texas, to compete in the TCU Horned Frog Invitational with UTEP.
