RENO, NEV. The Nevada rifle team will host TCU and UTEP this weekend, Oct. 14th and 15th at Nevada’s shooting range located at 1305 Evans Street. Nevada’s scheduled time to shoot will be 4:00 p.m. Saturday and 3:00 p.m. Sunday.
Nevada has faced TCU twice this season, both times being in Fort Worth Texas. On Sept. 29th, the Wolf Pack fell short of TCU falling 4598-4581. TCU took first in the TCU Horned Frog Invitational while Nevada placed second on Oct. 1st.
Nevada will also see UTEP for the second time this season. The first meeting between the Wolf Pack and the Miners was on Oct. 1st at the TCU Horned Frog Invitational where Nevada out shot UTEP 4599-4542 to finish second. However, the Wolf Pack will still be expecting to see UTEP to come out strong this upcoming weekend.
Nevada’s All-America shooter, Michael Tanoue, will be shooting this weekend for the first time this season. Due to class schedule conflicts, Tanoue was unable to compete in the first weekend of the season. Tanoue will be expected to shoot at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
