SAN FRANCISCO - The University of Nevada's Silver rifle team fell to the University of San Francisco in San Francisco on November, 19-20, here in air rifle. USF Gold defeated the Wolf Pack's second team, 2230-2191. With the loss, Nevada dropped to 4-2 on the season.
Nevada's Marcie Purkey took match honors with a 572. USF's Blake Cuban followed with a 565 while teammate Jessica Mercer shot a 559. The Pack's Amanda Dorrough set a new personal best, shooting a 539.
The next match for the Pack's Silver team (first team) is January 28 against San Francisco in Reno.
