Track & Field Practice Facility

In the summer leading up to the 2016-17 season, the new Track & Field Practice Facility (also known as the field events site) was complete near Hixson Park.

The facility includes plenty of space for all field events, including:
• Three shot put rings
• Javelin runway
• Hammer and discus ring
• A dual high jump pad
• Dual long jump pits
• Dual pole vault pits

The facility brought something to campus that hasn't been seen in a long time - a dedicated facility for field events. It was paired with the resurfacing of the silver and blue track in Mackay Stadium.
