RENO, Nev. – Wide receiver Romeo Doubs has been named the Wolf Pack Student Athlete of the Week after having a career day in Nevada’s 21-10 victory over New Mexico on Saturday. The sophomore set career-bests with 11 receptions and 167 receiving yards.
 
Doubs’ 11 receptions against the Lobos matched the high of any Mountain West receiver in a single game this season, and he currently sits at sixth in the conference with 574 receiving yards. Those 574 yards are also the most on the Wolf Pack.
 
The Los Angeles, Calif. native’s biggest play of the evening came on a 57-yard touchdown in the second quarter to give Nevada a 14-7 lead. That proved to be the game-winning score, as the Lobos were held to just 10 points.
 
Nevada will continue conference play at San Diego State this Saturday at 7:30 p.m. The game will be broadcast on ESPN2.
