RENO, Nev. – Nevada track and field sophomore has been named Wolf Pack Student-Athlete of the Week after her top-10 finish at last weekend’s NCAA Indoor National Championships in Birmingham, Alabama.
Ader’s max height of 5’ 9.25” (1.76 meters) landed her in a tie for ninth place in the event. The finish earned her Second team All-American honors, and was the highest finish by any member of the Pack in the indoor national championships.
Ader was also just the sixth ever Nevada representative at the meet. The last to qualify was La Tijera Avery in 2012, also in the high jump. Prior to Ader, the highest finish was Kali Baker in the mile in 2006 with a 12th place finish.
The Wolf Pack will begin its outdoor season this weekend at Sacramento State’s Hornet Invitational, in Sacramento, California.
