The Wolf Pack, which tied its best MW Championship finish of third over the weekend, was led by Grant Booth whose second place finish was the best of his career at this event. Booth shot a 2-under 70 for his final round and finished the championship at 7-under par (68-71-70). He made a run at the individual title during Sunday’s final round, coming within two shots of eventual champion Shintaro Ban of UNLV after making eagle on the par 5 11th.
 
Through the 54 holes of play, Booth ranked third in the field of 55 with 14 birdies, added 30 pars and did not make anything worse than bogey. His runner-up finish marked the second straight week that Booth had earned that finish. For the season he has collected nine top 20 finishes in 10 events played and has compiled a scoring average of 70.2.
