Rush played a key role in Nevada’s 23-16 victory over UNLV Saturday to retain the Fremont Cannon. Tallying five total tackles, Rush recorded three tackles for loss and a sack. Perhaps his biggest play came on a critical fourth down when Rush made the stop, forcing the UNLV turnover on downs. Nevada would then take the ball 91 yards down the field for the game-winning score.
