Rookie men's golfer Joey Vrzich, playing in his first collegiate event last week at the Badger Invite, fired a 2-under par 70 in his final round. Vrzich, who shot 74-69-70, was Nevada's top finisher in the event, tying for 13th place. He ended his three-day outing at 3-under for the tournament after back-to-back rounds under par. During his final round he made five birdies, including birdies on the first two holes of his round.
